A quick reset is a simple test you can use to help determine the cause of an issue with your sensor.
HidrateSpark PRO (sensor puck attached to the bottom):
To reset your sensor puck, you need to unscrew the sensor puck from the bottom of the bottle, place it on a flat surface and press the Orange/Blue RESET button near the area where you connect the magnetic charging cord.
After the reset you should see three green flashes if everything is fine with the sensor puck.
- If the sensor puck flashes green 3 times, please test to see if the issue is resolved.
- If the sensor flashes green but the problem continues or if some of the flashes weren't green please try charging the bottle fully.
If you're needing further assistance, email us at support@hidrate.me - let us know if you've already reset your sensor, if it does/does not blink, along with any details of the issue that might help us resolve it as soon as possible.
HidrateSpark 3 (sensor stick located at the bottom):
To reset your sensor, just remove and re-insert the battery:
- Open the battery cover and remove the battery.
- Reinsert the battery, make sure it's in the right way.
- Push the battery into the sensor a little harder to achieve a better power connection.
- Secure the battery cover back on the base of the bottle and screw the D-ring as tightly as possible.
When done properly, the sensor should glow.
- If it did glow, please test to see if the issue is resolved.
- If the sensor didn't glow, the battery may be bad and a quick battery change should correct the problem.
HidrateSpark 2.0 (sensor stick attached to the lid):
To reset your sensor stick, unscrew and then re-screw the sensor stick cap following the steps below:
- Remove the sensor stick from the lid of the bottle.
- If needed, this video shows how to properly remove and re-attach the sensor stick: https://youtu.be/hwqb3DLvrSU
- Make sure there is no water on the sensor stick. Dry it off if you have to.
- Unscrew and then re-screw the sensor stick cap.
- Screw the sensor stick cap down until the triangles line up (or as tight as you're able) to keep the battery pack in place, and ensure a water tight seal.
After re-attaching the sensor stick cap, it should glow/blink twice.
- If the sensor blinks twice, re-attach it to your bottle lid and you should be good to go.
- If the sensor does not blink, a quick battery change should correct the problem.
