Android may take a little bit longer to pair with your bottle. Keep your phone touching the lid of your bottle during the pairing process.
- Android devices running OS 11 or older you must have location services enabled and allow HidrateSpark to use them in order to pair and sync with your bottle via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). *This is an Android requirement
If you are unable to pair, or get an error, please restart your phone. This will most likely fix the issue.
If you still have issues, you can try turning Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds to refresh the connection.
Also, clearing app cache and data can help, by simply following the directions below:
1. Completely log out of the Hidrate app. From the menu, touch Settings > Profile > Account > Sign Out
2. Completely close the app
3. From your phone's Settings, Select Apps/Application manager > Find the HidrateSpark app > Select Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data
4. Ensure Bluetooth and Location is on, re-open the Hidrate app, and sign in.
We are continuously making updates to our apps to improve syncing and pairing reliability so be sure to always be on the latest version of the HidrateSpark app.
