My phone will not pair with my bottle.

Make sure your Bluetooth is turned on in your phone, and that you have an internet connection. For Android, you must enable location features in order to pair with Bluetooth.

If this is happening during the set up process, press skip and complete the set up process, and try adding a bottle from your profile. Click on the bottles tab and click Add bottle. Make sure that a person hasn't already paired to the bottle. If they have, they will need to unpair from the bottle. 

If that doesn't work, try closing the app and reopening the app and adding a bottle from your profile. 

If restarting the app doesn't work, turn Bluetooth off and then back on, and try to add a bottle from your profile. 

If turning Bluetooth on and off doesn't work close the app completely. Go to your phone settings and click on Bluetooth. If you see a device called H2Oxxxxxxx (the x's will be a unique id to your device) under your devices click the blue i (for iPhone) or the blue gear (for Android) next to it and forget device (for iPhone) or unpair (for Android). Then go to your profile and click on the bottles tab, click Add bottle. Make sure you are right next to your bottle. When it asks you to place your phone close to the bottle, touch it to the lid. 

If forgetting a Bluetooth device doesn't work, try restarting your phone and adding the bottle from your profile. 

If you have tried all of the above, then remove the sensor stick from the lid in a snapping motion. Unscrew the sensor stick lid. This will disconnect the power source. Then screw the lid back into place, making sure the battery pack is within the lid. The sensor stick will glow. Make sure to screw down the sensor lid as tightly as you can to ensure a water tight seal. Reattach the sensor stick to the lid of the bottle.

Now go back in your app, go to your profile, click the bottles tab and click add bottle. Touch your phone to the lid of the bottle and wait for the Bluetooth pairing request to pop up and click pair. Keep holding your phone to the lid as the connection process can take a few minutes. When it has successfully paired, it will say mission accomplished and the bottle will glow.
