The recalibrate option will only appear if the tumbler is connected to the app. The tumbler should always have the lid on and straw attached (if applicable) during the empty and full state for proper recalibration.
- First, completely empty your tumbler and set it upright on a flat surface
- Open your app and go to the Bottles page (Hidrate bottle icon on the lower right of the Home page)
- Once you're in the 'Bottles' tab, tap on the right arrow next to your bottle's name. This action will bring you to the 'Bottle Details' page.
- On the 'Bottle Details' page, scroll down until you locate the 'Recalibrate' option in the menu.
- Tap on the 'Recalibrate' option to begin the recalibration process for your bottle.
- Once finished, place your tumbler on a flat stable surface. After 10-20 seconds, drink normally
Note: The sensor has to be recalibrated anytime after it's removed from the tumbler, including after charging, cleaning, etc. for accurate readings to record.
Recalibration requires the tumbler to be filled up completely (to the lid ridge) and sit for 10 seconds to set the max level on the sensor (20 oz.) Overfilling (water above the lid ridge) or not filling the tumbler completely, will cause miscalculation. e.g. if you only filled the tumbler halfway (example 10 oz.) the sensor will think it is a full tumbler and will likely then double the amount of water, thinking that 10 oz. is actually 20 oz.
