How is my recommended hydration goal calculated?

We have created an equation with the help of doctors and nephrologists to determine a recommended hydration goal customized for you. We take into account your age, height, weight, gender, and general activity level to create a baseline goal for you. We do account for around 20% of your water intake to come from food and other beverages that you would eat and drink throughout the day. This goal is further customized with integration of your location services which take into account the temperature, elevation, and humidity of your surroundings. All these factors affect how much water you should be drinking each day. If you sync with our supported fitness trackers your step and activity data will be taken into account and your goal will be adjusted accordingly to keep you at your optimal hydration level.

It doesn't work in my app/on my phone. All factors have a - and it has stuck me at 67oz for weeks.

I have an Iphone too and use a garmin for activity - the tech support told me there is a glitch with the location setting that they are working on fixing. also with my steps - i have had to enter them manually to my health app from my garmin because it doesn't update the health app throughout the day - looks like it only writes to it once - at the end of the day. adding my steps manually has cause my goal to adjust - just waiting on the location settings to work.

I got my Hidrate Spark 2.0 yesterday and my goal all day today has been stuck at 36oz! This is very disappointing so I hope this glitch is fixed soon :(
